All the activities of Summit FOUNDATION target a sustainable change in behaviour within the general public. To this end, one of the key components at the heart of the Foundation’s work is building awareness of environmental issues.

Advertising campaigns

Since its creation in 2001, the Foundation has produced and distributed poster campaigns to build awareness among the general public of the environmental impact of leisure activities. In 15 years, more than 15 campaigns have been run, mainly in the mountains.

The latest one, #EnjoyAndRespect, takes the form of comic bubbles, visible in over 70 ski resorts in Switzerland with the potential of impacting more than half the skiers in the country.

Mission Dahu – Environmental education

Building awareness of future generations is an essential condition for the protection of the environment. Summit FOUNDATION builds awareness of the younger generation through a learning game available for free downloading, Mission Dahu, and through taking classes on educational excursions in the mountains.

Awareness-building films

In the context of its 15th anniversary, the Foundation has created three awareness spots on littering. These one-minute videos pay tribute to three screen classics: James Bond, Heidi and Les Bronzés.

Summit FOUNDATION supports numerous events in their environmental management: setting up a strategy for sustainable development, managing waste and staff, communication, public awareness, etc.

In particular it supports the Paléo Festival Nyon and the Montreux Jazz Festival by playing an active part within their respective environmental committees.
